COLLABORATION IS OUR STRATEGY.
CHILDREN ARE OUR PRIORITY.

As the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic continues,
understanding the epidemiology of the new virus will be crucial

for developing effective prevention and treatment strategies.
The COVID-19 clinical presentation is poorly defined in pediatric populations, as most of the reported known cases are adults. We aim to describe the epidemiology, clinical presentation, m
anagement, and outcomes associated with COVID-19 among pediatric patients across
the United States of America.

*Only cases positive for COVID-19 prior to May 1, 2021 are eligible*

CASES SUBMITTED:
13,137
HOSPITAL ADMITS:
1685
ICU ADMISSIONS:
611
DEATHS:
21
(AS OF 05/27/2022, 9:00 AM CST)

WHO CAN SUBMIT A CASE?

Anyone with a pediatric (< 21 years old) patient diagnosed with Covid-19 at their institution. Cases can be outpatient or hospitalized. Respondents will enter case information using secondary data originally collected for standard of care.
We do not collect PHI.
